About
I studied medicine at University College Dublin. I became a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2010 and was awarded the Standish Barry Prize. I completed dual specialist training in Child and Adolescent and Forensic Psychiatry in Oxford. In 2018, I was involved in establishing the East of England Community Forensic Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service. I was the Clinical Lead of this service between 2018 and 2024, before moving into independent practice.
I was recently elected by my peers to be a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists Child and Adolescent Faculty Executive Committee. I am also a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists Adolescent Forensic Psychiatry Special Interest Group Executive Committee.
I am a compassionate doctor who provides high quality, child-centred care. I assess children aged 6-17 years (up until their 18th birthday) and can offer follow-up support and treatment, if indicated. I undertake detailed and thoughtful general mental health assessments, ADHD assessments and autism assessments.
